Yeehaw Junction to Kissimmee
70 miles

The ride on hwy 441 towards Holopaw was absolutely beautiful. It truly
represented the country side of Florida. Orange groves, everglades,
thick humidity will forever be ingrained in my mind.

We were supposed to make it to Nell Page's house but fell about 15 miles
short due to head winds, Glenn's wheel and just the distance we had to
cover. Glenn's wheel is starting to break apart spoke by spoke. We
will have to come up with a quick remedy.
In addition, Glenn took a dive on the bike today. I think he over
inflated his tire. The tube exploded making a gun shot like sound. I look
back and I see Glenn trying to decide which way to fall.
Intelligently, he chose the curb over the road. Glenn now leads the pack with 4
flats.

We are camping behind a Jewish Temple and there must have been some
slight confusion over whether we were allowed to camp here or not.
Initially, we received permission but over a slight miscommunication, the
sheriff dept made there presence. It was not a big deal, we just got
padded down and told us to stay safe.

Tomorrow, our plan is to make it to the villages to see Josh's
grandparents.

Good night.

Jin, Glenn, Josh
1 mile at a time...
