Kissimmee to Lady Lake
67 miles

Weather last night was brutal. It rained so hard, water managed to get
beyond the rainfly. Lightning and wind added to the effect.

We had to wake up at 5:30am because the school requested us to leave
the property before sunrise. We made our way down to the IHOP and waited
for the weather to warm up. After breakfast, we fixed Glenn's wheel for
our long trip to the Villages in Lady Lake to meet and have dinner with
Josh's grandparents.

Ken and Bonnie, grandparents, put us up in a suite at the Hampton Inn.
Now this is touring. I guess its not the best way to toughen us up for
the trip ahead but I'm not complaining.

Villages, a retirement community, is golf cart central. Each home even
has a bay in the garage specifically for golf cart. They come in all
different sizes and styles. Ken and Bonnie own a Mercedes golf cart.

They fed us Curry with rice and lots of other toppings. We also got a
tour of their beautiful home. Ken proudly displayed walls and walls of
sailing memorabilia as well as his impressive display of medals from
his military service. Lewis, Susannah's dad, would have certainly have
appreciated it.

We should be in Gainesville by tomorrow evening and after that, it
will be a rest day!!!

Good night.
