Day 9

Lady Lake(Villages) to Gainesville
65 miles
The weather was excellent today considering Florida. The winds were
down, the temp was about 80 and the humidity was low.
We rode through beautiful horse country today north of Ocala. Horse
farms are amazing around this part of the country. Green grass covers
the landscape far as the eye can see. Just a little piece of heaven.
We made it to Gainesville and to our surprise, we had the local tv
station (ABC) interview us about our trip. Josh's father had notified the
tv station and they were interested. We all had a chance to interview
individually and explain why we chose to do what we are doing and the
cause behind it. I've never done an interview before and I didn't
choke.
Tomorrow, we get a day off so we will sleep in and enjoy not looking
at a bike. By Sunday night, we should be in Ga. near the Okefenokee
swamp.
