Bell 2, BC to 66 miles north of Bell 2, BC
66 miles

We are in the middle of the woods.  We haven't seen a grocery store in
the last 240 miles.  We are starting to run thin.  Our next town with
food is Iskut which is 32 miles north of here.

We're not exactly starving.  The two cyclist we met going to the
southern tip of South America bought us breakfast buffet this morning.  As
expected we got a late start because we just sat and ate, the ate more.
Thank you so much guys and wish you the best on safe travels.

It's been raining a lot because well, it's the rainforest.  It has
rained almost every night for the last week and rained all day today.  With
all this rain comes mosquitoes.  They swarm us by the dozens.  It's
hard to eat, cook, change clothes, or really just about anything besides
riding.  As I am writing this in my tent, I can see at least a hundred
swarming around it.  Infact, I've never seen it this bad in my entire
life!  Enough complaining.

We pulled over onto a forest service road and we are camping out on the
side of it.  We ate as fast as we could, uncooked Ramen for me, and
Glenn hung up the food for bear prevention.

The views today were spectacular again.  I know I am getting too
spoiled because I just stopped taking picture.  Oh look, it's another snow
capped mountain with rivers and streams around it.  It's Grand Teton
everyday.

We are about halfway through the Cassiar Hwy.  In about 3 or 4 days, we
should hit the Yukon Territory.  We got some rough roads ahead of us.
Just last night, road had washed away 150 miles north of us.  Being
the only road, the crews are supposedly fixing the road as we speak.
Meanwhile, it is shut down.  If we get there and they say the road is
closed, we will be trekking through the mountain and we will get through.
Even if I have carry every single item with multiple trips.  There is
no way I am turning back now and taking another route.  Infact, we'll
just camp there until they're done.

Good night.

1 mile at a time...
